Flu Vaccination Service

The flu vaccine is a safe and effective vaccine. It is offered every year on the NHS to help protect people at risk of getting seriously ill from flu. The best time to get your flu jab is before the winter, before the flu starts spreading.

Lalys pharmacy have over the years increased their vaccination activities and the team are confidently delivering both specialised clinics and ad hoc vaccinations in smaller branches.

From early October, Lalys will again be providing a dedicated walk in and pre-bookable flu service enabling patients to access the service easily. We are also able to come to you!

Letters are being sent out to schools and businesses over the summer months to pre-arrange a suitable time for the mobile clinic.

NHS Flu vaccines are being offered to a variety of different groups if:

• You are 65 and over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2024)
• you have certain medical conditions
• you are pregnant
• you are a frontline adult social care worker who cannot get a vaccination from your employer

If you are not eligible for a free flu vaccine on the NHS, Lalys can offer this privately, at £17.50/vaccine.
