Pompey Extend Partnership With Lalys Pharmacy

Pompey are pleased to announce that Lalys Pharmacy are continuing as Substitution Sponsor for the 2020/21 campaign.

The family-run business has been serving the people of Portsmouth for more than 30 years, supporting individuals and residential care homes across the region from its four branches across the city, and its pharmacists are able to prescribe for minor ailments.

The sponsorship deal will see them feature on the big screen at Fratton Park when substitutions are made, as well as announcements across the club’s social media channels.

Baldev Laly, founder and director of Lalys Pharmacy, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our sponsorship and association with Portsmouth Football Club.

“Since March, we have worked with the club to promote crucial health messages to the local community and it proved to be a hugely effective partnership.

“As the impact of Covid-19 unfolds, we are proud to be in a position to support local football as it adapts, and help keep fans up-to-date with the measures we – and our healthcare community – are putting in place.

“Just as football is getting ready for the new season this autumn, we have created a new website and are preparing for the demand in flu vaccinations.

“We are also planning to launch a private appointment service that allows people to access our pharmacists at home via video call. After all, there is no substitution for your health.”

Pompey Chief Commercial Officer Anna Mitchell added: “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Lalys Pharmacy for another season.

“We have enjoyed the opportunity to work closely with such a great local business – especially during the pandemic – and are pleased that this will continue.”
